Interests

I am a clinician-scientist interested in disorders of hearing and balance In particular, we are interested in how cochlear implants stimulate the auditory system, ways to improve stimulation, measuring outcomes and measures of hearing and balance using wearable technologies. Other projects are in developing site of lesion tests for hearing disorder patients. A third arm is developing new diagnostic tests for probing vestibular function, both in the clinic and at home. We are developing new wearable technologies in this space I work heavily with engineering and audiology collaborators
