Interests

I am interested in understanding how myelin, made by oligodendrocytes in the central nervous system, changes throughout life, either as a response to changes in neuronal activity or during repair of demyelinated lesions. I am using rodent models and a variety of techniques, such as stereotactic brain injections, confocal, light-sheet and super-resolution microscopy.
