Restricted call: Into Change Award (Internal Deadline: 1st July 2025)
The Danish Ministry for Higher Education and Science has announced the Into Change Award.
The Into Change Award is a new award that honours remarkable European research groups who have demonstrated excellence in their work. The award celebrates outstanding research driven by curiosity,
collaboration, and responsibility. The prize consists of DKK 8 million (Danish kroner) and is given by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science, the Novo Nordisk Foundation, the Carlsberg Foundation and Villum Foundation. The award consists of an honorary award of DKK 100,000 (~GBP 12k) for each group member, as well as a research grant of DKK 7,200,00 – 7,800,000 (~GBP 800-900k; i.e. the remaining amount after the honorary awards have been deducted from the total award).
The Into Change Award is open to research groups based in Europe, consisting of 2 to 8 named members. All research fields can be nominated. For more information, please see the call website.
University Internal selection:
Institutions can only nominate one research group. Therefore, this call will be managed according to the University’s restricted calls procedure. Your Department’s Research Grants Team and/or Departmental Administrator (or equivalent) must be made aware of your internal application, and a support letter signed by the Head of Department is required.
